Bo Maker is the solo project of Melbourne-based songwriter Charlie Bowmaker. After years of playing in bands and touring widely, Bo Maker is a space for Charlie’s most personal songwriting — warm, analogue indie folk steeped in the spirit of 60s and 70s songwriting, with a contemporary edge that sits somewhere between Aldous Harding and Tex Crick.

Honest, introspective, and quietly bold, Bo Maker makes music about connection, vulnerability, and finding beauty in the everyday — performed live on piano, sampler and vocals.

Charlie released their debut single Limbo Bliss in May 2026, with a debut album due October 2026. The Verein08 show is part of Bo Maker’s first European appearance, including performances in Vienna and Barcelona across June and July.

Joining as special guest is Agnes Verano — a Berlin-born, Vienna-based songwriter whose mellow, lyrical songs are described as pure and timeless, with a minimalist touch that lets the fragile beauty of each moment speak for itself.
